DE

The Association of Austrian Software Innovations (VÖSI) is the interest group of the Austrian software industry.
It was founded in 1986 and currently brings together around 50 software companies under its umbrella.

VÖSI defines the software industry as all companies that develop software themselves or whose business activities play a significant role in the software development process.

In its manifesto, VÖSI sets itself the task of strengthening the Austrian software industry both nationally and internationally, creating framework conditions for sustainable economic success in this segment and promoting social discourse on software.

For VÖSI, social benefits and commercial interests are in harmony with each other. Since software is present in many areas of modern life, the software industry makes a valuable contribution to the everyday lives of all people.

VÖSI offers companies an active platform and speaks out on current issues. Another focus of activities for members is networking for partnership success through platforms for the exchange of experience and knowledge and for making new contacts at specialist and management level. The largest possible number of members facilitates and accelerates the pursuit

the objectives of VÖSI.
